We Bring Queens to the Stage
Our Mission is to acknowledge the achievements of African-American WomXn stage performers, and to promote diversity in the talented realm of Michigan Performing Arts.
Our belief is that all black womXn stage performers deserve being honored for selflessly helping others while achieving their passion. We also believe that Michigan stages should be as diverse as the state itself.
Our Goal is to continue this acknowledgement for years to come and to encourage young African-American ladies to be involved more in performing arts and in their communities.

Happy New Year to you all! BLAQN is jumping right in with our first event of the year, The BLAQN Recruitment Sessions.
Do you want to see more Black Womxn Performers being acknowledged for their talents? Would you like to be more involved with BLAQN and all our events? Would you like to know what BLAQN stands for?
Then please join us each Saturday in January for a FREE Recruitment Session. There we will talk about BLAQN's Mission, Vision, and Value statements, possible future events, and how you can help us. ALL are welcome. We accept anyone that wants to be an ally for Black Womxn .
